Roof garden or other green roof strategies are not feasible based on existing structural conditions. A stormwater detention basin consisting of a network of underground pipes has been proposed for the Phase I portion of the development to accommodate the stormwater runoff generated by the minor parking addition in the rear of the lot. An aboveground stormwater bioretention basin has been proposed for the Phase II portion of the development to accommodate the stormwater runoff generated by the rear parking expansion. Additional details are provided within the Stormwater Management Report filed with this application. Red maple, Eastern Red Cedar, Eastern White Pine, Inkberry Holly, Potentilla and Bar Harbor Juniper are all Native plants proposed on this project. Gingko and Linden are urban tolerant trees well suited to parking lots.
