Conforti Avenue, Eagle Rock Avenue to Holmes Street‐ 1080 LF 2. Conforti Avenue, Holmes Street to Bauer Drive‐ 1880 LF 3. Conforti Avenue, Bauer Drive to Hooper Avenue – 380 LF 4. Hooper Avenue, Carteret Street to Conforti Avenue‐ 250 LF 5. Carteret Street, Conforti Avenue to dead end – 2450 LF 6. Crystal Avenue, Conforti Avenue to dead end – 550 LF 7. Suburban Drive, Crystal Avenue to Devore Drive – 1800 LF 8. Devore Drive, Carteret Street to Suburban Drive – 360 LF 9. Flynn Terrace, Carteret Street to Suburban Drive – 360 LF 10. Marcy Place, Carteret Street to Suburban Drive – 390 LF 11. Dockery Drive, Carteret Street to Crystal Woods – 570 LF 12. Ronald Terrace, Pleasant Valley Way to dead end – 800 LF 13. Terrace Avenue, Eagle Rock Avenue to dead end – 710 LF Total Length – 11,580 LF The total length for the 2022 Street Resurfacing Project is 11,580 linear feet, within a 50-foot (+/-) right – of – way. Proposals shall be submitted to provide all work required to provide a complete design package as generally described on the enclosed description.

The cost of services shall be for a complete design and bid package including cost estimates, plans and specifications (twenty copies each) for bidding purposes, detour plans, construction stakeout, and cut sheets. This project will be fully funded by Township of West Orange. All plans, specifications and bid documents shall be in conformance with the latest New Jersey Department of Transportation specifications, and shall be submitted to our office for review prior to finalizing contract documents. Proposals shall be on a lump sum basis. Hourly rates shall be submitted with all proposals for any additional work. Design will consist of utilizing aerial orthophoto maps for preparation of project base maps. A one-site visit will be conducted to verify and supplement planimetric elements such as roads, inlets, and other features for the preparation of plans and specifications for the milling and resurfacing of the roadways. It is the intent of this office to advertise for bids upon availability of funds from the Township in Winter 2022/2023. Proposals shall be submitted in writing on or before 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 17, 2022 to the Department of Public Works, 25 Lakeside Avenue, West Orange, New Jersey 07052 and shall include a specified completion date or number of days required for completion of the work after approval is granted to proceed. Also, evidence of proper insurance shall be submitted for approval by the Township Attorney.
