Township of West Orange Estimate of Fees for Professional Engineering Services Re: Degnan Park Community Garden and Exercise Equipment May 12, 2025 Our File No. 2025-200 Page 3 Fee Estimate We will provide the necessary engineering services as described above based upon the cost breakdown as noted below: A. Land Surveying Services ............................................... $18,000.00 B. Civil Engineering Services ............................................. $26,000.00 Total Lump Sum Fee for Services ......................................... $44,000.00 3. Construction Administration Services (Separate Fee) The following services will be provided under this phase: A. Contract preparation including review of bonds, insurance certificates and project manning reports; B. Attend preconstruction meeting; C. Provide assistance with interpretation of contract documents; D. Review shop drawings for site-related items; and, E. Provide construction observation services, prepare contractor punch lists and review and prepare pay estimates. F. Perform project close out and final pay estimate/close out change order. The Lump Sum fee for Construction Administration Services is $20,000.00. Exceptions:  NJDEP permitting with the exception of the FHA Permit By Rule. Additional NJDEP permitting is outside of the scope of this proposal.  Any work not specified as listed in the above phases shall be considered additional services and will be invoiced at the time said work is authorized by the Township.  Application fees are considered extra and will be requested at time of submission.
