Based on our review of the RFP provided to our office, the improvements will include the replacement of existing precast concrete sidewalk panels covering an existing drainage culvert within the Township Right-Of-Way at 25 Luddington Road. The existing precast sidewalk panels are in disrepair and need replacement. Based on the above, we propose the following scope of services: 1. Land Surveying Services Under this task, we will prepare an existing conditions plan to be utilized for the design of the improvements. The services will include the following: a. Prepare a topographic survey and base mapping suitable for the proposed improvements; b. Establish horizontal control based on current New Jersey State Plane Coordinate System and Vertical Datum; c. Set Benchmark(s) on site for future use; d. Prepare an Existing Conditions/ Survey Control Plan; and, e. Coordinate utility mark-outs.

Civil Engineering Services The services under this task will include the following services: a. Design the existing pre-cast concrete sidewalk panels covering the existing drainage culvert; b. Design and prepare contract drawings and specifications for replacing the existing pre-cast concrete sidewalk panels covering the existing drainage culvert. The plan set will include, but not limited to, the following sheets: • Cover Sheet • Existing Conditions/Survey Control Plan • Demolition Plan • Construction Plan • Traffic Control Plan • Construction Details c. Attend four (4) meetings with the Township; d. Prepare a Bid Package that includes construction plans and specifications in accordance with public bidding laws; and, e. Provide the Township with plans and specifications in AutoCAD, hard copy, and PDF files. Our office will provide construction management of the improvements for the anticipated contract time including the following services: 1. Coordinate and attend pre-construction meeting; 2. Coordinate with the contractor to ensure compliance with the final contract documents; 3. Provide assistance with interpretation of contract documents; 4. Review shop drawings; 5. Provide construction observation services; 6. Prepare progress pay estimates; 7. Prepare punch lists required to be addressed by the contractor prior to close out; 8. Prepare final pay estimate and close out change order; and, 9. Coordinate with the Township and CDBG offices for reimbursement of the respective grant funding.
