72-25 February 11, 2025 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTOR OF TAXES TO REBATE PAYMENT TO THE LISTED TAXPAYER PURSUANT TO FINAL JUDGMENT BY THE TAX COURT OF NEW JERSEY WHEREAS, final judgment on tax appeals has been rendered by the Tax Court of New Jersey on the petitions of the taxpayers listed on the attached schedule reducing the assessment. 73-25 February 11, 2025 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on or about December 10, 2012, Michael and Luz Stella Jenkins (collectively the “Borrowers”) executed a Mortgage in the amount of $35,00 (the “Mortgage”) to secure a loan through the Township of West Orange’s Housing Rehabilitation Program on the property located at Block 113.01, Lot 100 on the Tax Map for the Township of West Orange, commonly known as 72 Park Terrace, West Orange, New Jersey 07052 (the “Property”); and WHEREAS, the Mortgage was recorded on January 9, 2013, as Instrument 13002053 in Mortgage Book 12410, Page 700 with the Essex County Register of Deeds and Mortgages; and WHEREAS, the loan through the Township of West Orange’s Housing Rehabilitation Program provides for a forgiveness of the loan at the twelfth (12th) anniversary of the release of payment for the loan; and WHEREAS the twelfth (12th) anniversary of the release of payment for the loan has passed; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange seeks the execution of a Discharge of Mortgage, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A,” to record that the loan has been forgiven, and the Mortgage has been satisfied and discharged.
